Youth Safety & Protection
Every young person's safety is non-negotiable.
Because we work with minors, we hold ourselves to high standards for privacy, consent, and protection.
Our commitments
- Volunteers, mentors, and staff who interact with youth complete a background check prior to placement.
- We never publicly display a child's full name, address, school, or private information without verified guardian consent.
- Youth participation is never conditional on sharing personal information beyond what is necessary for programming.
- Youth inquiries submitted through this site are routed to authorized staff only.
- Photos or stories featuring participants are published only with a signed media-consent form on file.
- User-generated content submitted by youth is moderated by staff before public display.
- We follow trauma-informed practices in all programming.
